That musty smell reaching your living space, sagging floor insulation, and visible mold on joists all trace back to the same root cause: uncontrolled moisture underneath the house.

What "specialized" actually means for crawl space encapsulation at our company — not a marketing word, a set of specific practices.
Training covers venting decisions, dehumidifier sizing, and moisture-source diagnosis before a single sheet of liner goes down.
Most Martinsburg, OH inspections are scheduled within a day or two of your call.
Pricing is based on crawl space square footage and the specific liner thickness recommended, quoted in writing before installation.
We install 12-20 mil reinforced polyethylene, not the thin painter's-grade plastic some crews substitute to cut cost.
We don't run a one-size-fits-all playbook — every crawl space encapsulation job starts from these core service components, adapted to what your property actually needs.
Seams are taped and mechanically fastened at wall terminations so the barrier performs as one continuous system. This is the baseline fix for most crawl spaces showing chronic humidity above 60 percent.
We seal vents with rigid foam or vent covers as part of a full encapsulation, converting the space to a sealed, conditioned environment.
A properly sized dehumidifier drained to a sump or gravity line keeps relative humidity below the threshold where mold and wood-destroying insects thrive. We size units to cubic footage, not floor area, since ceiling height varies significantly between crawl spaces.
We install a dedicated sump basin and pump sized to the space's water intake, tied into the encapsulation system's drainage channel.
Prolonged moisture exposure softens floor joists and sill plates well before it's visible from inside the home.
Here's the exact path from your call to a finished encapsulation.
Tell dispatch what you're noticing — musty smell, visible mold, sagging floors above — and they'll route a crew with moisture-testing equipment.
Most Martinsburg, OH inspections are scheduled within a day or two given how quickly moisture issues compound.
A full walkthrough — vent count, pier count, moisture readings — leads to a specific liner and dehumidifier recommendation.
We'll walk you through the finished space with a moisture meter so you can see the readings yourself.
